Default Who has a good stock replacement rod and main bearing?

I'm planning on rebuilding my stock motor once the new one gets here.

I really don't want to spend the $$$ for GM parts.

Thanks,
Ken

For rod bearings, use any sbc (larger journal) rod bearing. It is the only thing in common between legacy small blocks and the LS1/6. Federal Mogul makes main and cam bearings for the LS1. You can order these at places like Summit and Jeg's for the absolute best price.

Mains: 7298M Cam: 1888M Rods: 8-2555CP

ARP replacement bolt numbers:
head studs -- 234-4316 (12 pt.), 234-4110 (6 point)
main studs -- 234-5608
rod bolts -- 134-6006 (good), 234-6301 (best)
