So... you guys are saying the copper showing is "normal" for the LSX motor?

Look at this one? Looks flakey just to the right of the 6 o'clock position... why is this bearing so dang soft?

Cam is in... carefully filed the nick, then took 1000 grit to the upper scratch and sanded it a smidge... all is well cam went in very easily, spins fine.
