air tubes and egr????? going to ls6 intake and hooker headers want to get rid of some junk under the hood.if i take the
air tubes and the egr off and the electronics that
go with it other than the service engine light coming how will it effect performance.or will i have to get my computer reprogramed

Re: air tubes and egr????? won't effect performance at all. I think the AIR pump just lights the cats up at start up to prolong their life, just don't get on it until the car is warmed up obviously. You should get the codes programmed out though, for peace of mind at least. <img src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" />
