how hard are headers to install on 99 trans am I want to put headers on and exhaust but want to know how hard the headers will be to install. Give me some starting tips on mods, I have not done anything yet, HELP.

Re: how hard are headers to install on 99 trans am Well it depends if your car is a a4 or a m6 but I would start with the basics first. Free mods,Lid,exhaust,cutout,headers,and if its a a4 a converter is an excellent choice. With those mods you should be running a mid to low 12 on good tires.

Re: how hard are headers to install on 99 trans am Oh yeah and tips on headers. It seems like the Macs are flowing well enough for bolt on cars so that what I would reccomend. First port the primarys of each header and get a flowmaster collector. This will make the Macs flow even better. When you are ready to install, if you smoke have plenty of cigs and make sure there arent any children around just in case there are sudden outbursts of obscenities. <img src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" border="0" alt="[devil]" /> Have a buddy help you out during the install it will make things alot easier. Overall its not a bad job it just takes a little time. Be patient. Hope that helps.
