Default should I use copper spray on my head gaskets?

I have the stock GM graphite gaskets. I have the block and heads all prepped and ready to go. Didn't know if it would hurt to use the copper spray maybe to seal a little better.

Yes no harm in doing it.... I have done my last 5 sets....

That said, graphite gaskets usally are less likely to leak... I always spray metals gaskets...

Because the graphite does not need it. Have you seen a graphite gasket?
It is much softer than metal ones on the outer skin and will seal fine without any additive. It is allready prepped from factory in its composition. That is why they are so tough to clean off the block when removed.

ok I see. Do the graphite gaskets seal better than the others?

Yes and they are more scratch forgiving too.
