Ahhhh, got it. Thanks! It's not normal to see scales with different values, (around here) I guess I just glazed over that one.
Thanks for setting me straight!

I think they are record #'s too...the Speed Inc guys told us that thats the fastest heads and cam car that has gone through their shop...should be interesting to see what it does at the track...
I'm also wondering how much more HP he can squeeze out of it....
New MAF
TB
Underdrive Pullies
some more little things...
Lock up switch
I could see 430rwhp and beyond... <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

No, it did not. Check Speed Inc. out. Talk to Tom Izzo he has some good prices. He will work with you too.

I had a 3200 vig before and I was running 12.2s I did not have dyno #'s though. I also had torque management probs. So I am guessing I pick up close to 100rwhp. It is just a guess though.

Re: Speed Inc. Heads/Cam Dyno Results!
Any torque # below 5000 rpm with a YTP 4400 are seriously distorted by the converter's torque multiplication capability. Also since the the rear tires are rotating on the dyno, the output shaft speed on the converter is not zero. Therefore the converter will flash to an rpm above its stall speed of 4400. 5000 rpm is not an unexpected result; anywhere from 4800 - 5300 would be a reasonable expectation, depending upon the load, output shaft speed, and HP produced.
BTW, nice #s. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
A ported TB would be a cheap way to add 5+ hp.

Because that 520rwtq spike doesn't mean anything, it's from downshifting.
Running it from a higher rpm might keep the car from downshifting to second, but it can be a pain because most of us would make peak torque below 5000 rpms but below 5000 rpms the car might downshift.

Is it unusual for a heads/cam car to have a curve that is so flat and smooth?
The thing that I was impressed with was how it made almost full power across such a broad RPM range. I dunno, could just be me though.

Re: Speed Inc. Heads/Cam Dyno Results!
It is so flat and smooth mainly because of the dimensions of the graph. The X axis only ranges from 5000-7500 right? And the Y axis is really condensed. If the units on the Y axis were spaced farther apart it would look considerably different.
Just looking at the graph in general shows that it is of a horizontal shape. If it was stretched more vertical than horizontal, the curve would be very steep.
Not to say that Joe's curve isn't broad and flat, but the dimensions of the graph and the spacing of the units on the Y axis further exaggerate the flat shape. You could make it look however you wanted by changing the dimensions.
Anyway, Joe's car is flying and (shameless plug) Speed Inc is awesome.
