I am 17 years old, I have a 2000 Camaro SS. I wanna do a few things to the engine, but nothing serious yet(Its hard when you only make 6.00/hr). I wanna either get the FIPK or the Whisper Lid, how much of a difference are there between the two?

I'm not giving up my Whisper/K&N combo just yet but if I were starting fresh (stock) I might consider the FIPK, looks decent enough. <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[Burnout]" />

 

I switched from Lid to FIPK and have the pics at my website. I prefer the FIPK.

I think with the SS hood your better off with the FIPK personally.. You'll get more of the Cold air from the hood through the K&N then the Wisper Lid.. Just my thought.
I have the FIPK on a Z28 and really like it, My buddy has a Lid on his Z28 and he really likes it.. Kinda preference in style at that point in my opinion.. But for the SS I think the FIPK may be better..
