Default LS6 Heads from Patriot Performance

Anyone running the Patriot Performance LS6 stage 3 heads....if so what do you think of them and how much did you pay for them

Welcome! What cubes do u have? If 346 like most of us, you should look at their Stage 2 or maybe even stage 1 if you want to run an aggresive cam with the heads milled a lot and not worry about flycutting.

The stage 3 LS6 as you call them are "LS6 STYLE" not true LS6. They are in fact 6.0 heads.
Stage 3 is for 4.00 bore +

I have the stage II ls6's on mine. 347, ms4 m6 and 12 bolt on slicks. With the ls6 and ported tb it put down 441/405. Just switched to the 90/90 and haven't had a chance to do anymore pulls to see where I'm at now.

so your car laid down 441 with LS6 heads and the MS4 with ported TB?
Is that with a LS6 intake?

Yep ls6 and ported stock tb. The ms4 is awesome. I daily drive it for the most part. Pulls really hard, and drives pretty good for the most part.

dynojet or mustang?

I got 2001 ws6. PP ls6 st II heads 2.02/1.57 59cc. comp cam 231/237 .589/.595 112 kooks lt, stock intake (LS6) ported stock TB, true duals dumped. stock 3.42 . made 418rwhp 389rwtq. on stock clutch.

I just bought a pair of the stage 3 LS6 style heads on here for $200 that need new valves. I know I'm only running a 346 so they won't be optimum for my engine, but they'll be a hell of a lot better than the stock '98 castings, that's for sure!

It was on my dyno which is dynojet. And it is sae numbers not std. I started out at 424/395 through a hooker catback. Put a cutout on it and a ported tb and went from 424/395 to 437/402. My throttle cable wasn't opening up all the tb all the way so I unclip it from the bracket and slid it behind the bracket and got 441/405. I could have picked up another 5 or with some tweaking on the tune it was a little fat after opening the exhaust and adding the tb. Hoping for 460/420 with tuning and the fast 90/90.

What cc are the chambers , what thickness headgasket did you use .

59cc and I'm running the ls6 gm gasket which I believe is .055

had it on for about 2 weeks now, and haven't had any probs. Gonna tune and get some dyno numbers then pull it off to have it ported and test again to see how much it really gains. I'll try and get a graph up sometime this week when I get back to my shop.

Actually, unless they are a 59, 68, or 72cc heads, they will be a 243 casting.
