for the idle question people, I have a T1 which idles in my opinion worse and mine idles away with no programming just messed with the TB hole

 

It is duration that counts.

Duration at valve lifts where the head is actually capable of exchanging some air.

The hammer looks like a winner. Whats the .200" duration on the MTI cams?

Sorry it took me so long to reply.
I am more than happy with the cam. I knew that I was going to have idle problems with the 112LSA but it really is not that hard to get the car to idle plus I really did not want to rev the car to oblivean(sp). I did drill out the throttle blade to 15/64 and did a little bending on the throttle stop. I have the car idleing about 850 in park and 750'ish in drive. Any lover that that and the car gets misfire codes left and right. I do get a high idle code every once in a while but that code does nothing to performance.

The first time that I got on the car I could not beleive how much of a difference the cam made in the upper RPM. It just pulls and pulls. I got in to it with a Vet on the way home today and ate his lunch. The guy stopped and we talked for a while and come to find out he was spraying the car pretty hard. Boy was I stoked.

You are right about the red line beong unlocked and the green being locked. I picked up over 20Hp by locking up the converter. I have got to get a lock up switch. I am going to Dallas next week to pick up my cage from Wolfe(5pt) so look out HRP here I come.
