Re: Results are in on ARE Mods
Jeff I would get the rev-limiter bumped to 7200. You will want to shift at 6800-6900 to get the most out of it. Glad to see my old setup is working out well for you.

Re: Results are in on ARE Mods
I'm going to shift at 6700 - 6800 when my ARE stuff arrives. I use 6400 rpm now. 6500 is the highest I would spin a stock shortblock. The extra gain is not woth the risk, IMO.

Re: Results are in on ARE Mods
Right now the curve for this car is still ramping up at 6500. You are either going to have to shift high or advance the cam 3-4 degrees and bring the peak down a bit. The 1-2 drop on the T-56 is brutal.

Re: Results are in on ARE Mods
I am going to raise the rev to 7000 from 6800. Ed Wright is going to have to richen the car up, its at 13.5 with stock MAF ends.
Ragtop99- I will let you know how it turns out.
Richie-7200 sound just un-natural for the car. Why 4.11 what is diff between that and 4.10s?
Tim, thanks for the heads and cam, the car runs great. Walked on a C-4 today no challange at all. Next stop TAKASH.
Terry- Who are you?
I dont have the new rear yet, and I am not comfortable with "jumping" all over the stock unit. So I havent really ran the car hard yet from a standstill. Beside I am working on few bugs in the exhaust system.
WS6- Thanks for the offer. I am up in the air on when the Strange will get here. Ahhh, you lost me on the 348 & 447 crossover post, could you please elaborate?
Thanks all
