Default Results are in on ARE Mods

My Mods are in, for the list of mods see my signiture. After 3 weekends in the gargage I got the car back from being dyno'd and heres the numbers.

410.00 RWP
370 RWT

I have played with it a little and it seems to hook fairly well. Now I am waiting for the rollcage and 12 bolt then I will will be at the track.

Thanks for the help everyone.

Excellent results, congrats!!

I ran the same cam, but on a 112LSA, for the past year with excellent results as well. I was very suprised with how awesome of low end power that cam made in my car.

I should get my car back tomorrow with that cam on 112LSA as well. Hoping it will work well with my new S1 heads, 11:1 compression and 4400 stall with 4.11's
Cheers,
Chris

The car was dyno'ed at Norris Motorsports in Orlando. Mike there did a great job. Ed Wright did the programming on the computer.

With the programming I had to reinstall my stock MAF ends, the car was running too lean. It was out in the 14.5 area. With stock MAF end it runs in the 13.5 area, I am sending it back to Ed with the dyno to have him set it a little richer.

What do you think it should be set at?

How did the top end hold up? Where did you peak and to what rpm did you carry it?

You have the 1 7/8" grotts?

Jeff I would stay away from the ported MAF ends. Ed tunes for the stock MAF. It is alot easier to tune with the stock stuff.

Congrats on the #'s that thing will fly! Just be prepared to buy a 12 bolt especially with that Cartek clutch

Ragtop 99- I set the rev limiter to 6800, with the lower end stock I kind of chickened out on running it up to 7000. I will watch and see, if I dont like it I will take it up to 7000. What is yours set at? Yes I have the 1 7/8 Grots, excellent headers.

Richie- The 12 bolt is on GP though TBYRNE- I should get it by middle of the month. I will catch up with you sometime, I would like to see how yours looks and compare notes.

Terry, You should just use that as your sig, and just fill in the blanks to suit the situation! j/k.

BTW 99, Good numbers! I would shift at 6,700.

Joe.

No problem Jeff.
I shift @ 6800 and have my limiter set @ 7200 which I have tagged a few times and the stock bottom end is still intact. Make sure you get 4:11's.

Terry you're an ******* who never has anything constructive to say. Lets see how your almighty 435RWHP car performs @ the track. I have seen cars that make 30 more RWHP and TQ than mine does... yet they run only .10 quicker and have the same MPH. HMMMMMM! interesting. Just remember those dyno tricks don't work at the track!

99ragtop - congrats on the numbers!

I just put my Strange in last weekend if you need any info. ABS, no TCS, non super strength diff, 3.73's.

Got about 300 easy miles on it before I broke a 941. Its now in my friend's garage for the 2nd weekend in a row.

PS If you are sticking with your stock Al d/s (assuming not steel), the 447 crossover does indeed work. Ive seen the 348 mentioned as the one you have to use with that d/s and only the 447 would work with mine.

Man 10.6 is a long way away! I think I've got the power now, I just need to drop ~250#s, and get a low 1.4 60' time. I can dream anyway?

I'm really hoping for 122mph with this new camshaft, but until I get the TP4400 in that might be hard. If only there was a way to put a fiberglass hatch on the car for race day.
