I just found out the SLP has a double roller timing chain setup for 97-01 ls1 motors.
I was thinking of going to this during my h/c install this spring.
Any downsides to this?
Anyone have any experience with this setup? (it's probably so new that I doubt there is much experience, but can't hurt to ask.)
I would sure think this would be better than going to the Cloyes or Comp Cams Hex Adjust Timing Set.
Thanks for your input.
Mike

Just get the C5R chain. They can rev these to 10K-RPMS! Get it here:
GM Racing(think that is the name). It is a HME chain right around $95. P/N is C5R , phone number 931-648-3333
This is what I'm going to replace my stock chain with just for peace of mind <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Thanks Guys.
strife, is the Rollmaster much tighter than the stock chain? Did you have any clearance or fitment issues?
Anyone using one of these?
