Default Need HELP with rough running car!!

OK...I posted this on LS1.com yesterday and got ZERO help so Im gonna try here.

The background: Went out at lunch yesterday, car was running fine. Put a tank of Amoco 92 in it, and 5 minutes later the car is running extremely rough - so rough my headers are bangin and the thing almost stalls out at idle if I dont help the gas a tad.

Took it to a dealer (BAD!), cuz I was afraid I couldnt get it the 20 miles to home. He kept it overnight, only to replace one O2 sensor. The car had a flashing SES that comes and goes. They told me it had misfires on 3 cylinders. Today they call me and say the code is gone but it still had a misfire on the #6 cylinder.

So I picked the car up and it runs exactly the same. 250 bucks to replace an O2 sensor that was not needed. I turned around and drove back to the dealer to complain. He stated 'the car had an O2 sensor code, so we knew it needed to be replaced.'. Um...no...it didnt. Basically, since the car is so highly modded I have no leverage with them. So now Im out 250 bucks and the car still runs like ***.

I dont know what to do other than get this gas out of the car (for fear of crappy gas - I have run water remover through it, but not for very long as its still a very full tank of gas), get some new gas in it and see if that solves it.

I also think it might be a broken valvespring (941s in it).

Any thoughts??

Oops...sorry John!

TR 224/112LSA cam, POS 941s (that I now know I broke - pretty sure anyway), FLP's, all the bolts, Strange 12 bolt with 3.73s.

Ive decided to have the car towed to a friends house where we're going to tear the covers off. I have had Thunder overnite me some 918s with Ti retainers...

God please let the valves look OK...

Yeah that's pretty likely.

I wonder if you can isolate which side before pulling the covers off.

Well...the dealer (um..doesnt help me much) said it still had a misfire on #6. I suppose Ill pull that one first, but Im replacing all of them, so....Ill be pulling them both anyway... <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0"> <img src="graemlins/gr_barf.gif" border="0" alt="[barf]" /> <img src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" border="0" alt="[chug]" />

Does anyone know of a write-up on putting valvesprings on using a TDC process as opposed to fitting an air line into the spark plug hole to hold the valve up?

I did this on my LT1 and it worked great. Didnt know if it was any different on the LS1, plus I dont really remember where to start and the piston order..all that shiat...
