Either will make very good power, with the Hammer cam idle'ing *slighlty* more calmly. Otherwise, it will make so little difference that the possibility of the TR cam being cheaper might make it the winner. You wont go wrong with either in an M6.

I would definitely go with the Thunder cam, it is like a well matched and proven setup. <img src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" />

I'm gonna get the gtp s2/tr224-112 combo here pretty soon. I'm planning on some good results. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[Burnout]" />

Re: Which cam with Stage 2 Heads
Personally after running the ARE 226/234 cam with 557/575 lift and 112LSA on stock tuning with only T-body drilling I would go NO smaller than a 226/226 590 lift 112LSA cam with those heads. I am amazed how well my car is running without tuning on the 226/234 cam. Had I known this in the beginning I probably would have went 230/230 112-114LSA and .600 lift.
I am also running ARE S1 5.3L heads with right around 11:1 compression. Going in for LS1edit tuning at the end of this week hopefully.
Hope this helps in your decision. Remember your overall combo and goals will dictate your decision. If you are high stall big geared then the 228+ cams will work great. If you are M6 and planning on a 4.10 gear or above the bigger cams are great as well.
