Default Looking for a stock idling cam

Which one should I go with to see the most results yet keep a stock idle?

Link to the TR220 cam (114 LSA)at idle with stock exhaust manifolds/cats/dynomax muffler http://home.attbi.com/~cdcastle1/TR220idle.mpg

The extra engine noise is my valvetrain

Anyone have any dyno results with any of these mild cams?

With a M6 I would go with the TR220 or TR224. I have an A4 and went with the MMS 218 cam and it idles pretty close to stock and works well with factory heads.

Heres the graph:

I thought you were just going to stick to a few bolt-ons and leave the car at that(warranty-covered daily-driver)?

BTW, this is the guy who met up with you about a month ago to let you hear his GMMG exhaust. So have you decided against getting it now? It really does sound great, especially on an M6. Definitely better than any Borla or LM.

Mike

Mike, Whats up? Well, my extended warranty is a GMPP, so my good friend who works for Caddilac is able to bring my car to his work. So basically I can blow up my car with nitrous and it'll still be covered I'm getting a FREE LS6 intake next week, he's bringing my car in and saying that its surging at idle and has a hissing sound. He'll say that the LS1 intake has a crack in it and then order me a LS6 instead. And with my cam, he'll say that theres an internal noise someplace and say that the timing chain is bad so he'll be almost there to swap the cam. So he's getting paid to mod my car I still want that GMMG exhaust but my rotors were super warped and I went with that BAER Eradispeed GP through Speed Inc. and this Sat. I'm getting my car custom tuned by Brian. So I gotta save up a little $$$ again. If all goes well I should be at 340 rwhp this Sat. with just the K&N, Pulleys and Programming Stop by Speed Inc this Sat. a bunch of us are dynoing our cars.

The motor noise stands out even over the sound of the cam in the exhaust. Are all upgraded valvetrains noisy?

I was at 294RWHP 330RWTQ before headers and GMAF. The tuning was stock on all dyno pulls with the exception of the raised rev limiter on the last one.

I have 918s w/stock retainers and chromoly pushrods. All of the LS1s with upgraded valvetrains that I have heard have been really noisy.
