Default new ls1 owner which cam

Well like I said i am new to the ls1 world which cam would work best in my car 98Z m6 lid and dynomax muffler i want to keep my stock manifolds and cats thanks for any help.

Well, what are you looking for? All out power? Drivability? Neat sound? Midrange power or high end power? There are tons of cams out there now for LS1s and the choice between them should be based on what you want the result to be.

As already stated above, you need to state what your goals are. But, if you are not going to do headers, regardless of which cam you go with, I don't think you'll see much of an increase in power.

well sound is not important to me.I have et streets and 342 gears I heard mt1 has great cams for cars without headers I really want to run mid to low 12s in the quater with manifolds.

Do you have an A4? If so I think a torque convertor will do more for you at this stage than just a cam and no headers. Something like a SuperThruster 3500/3800 should get you to mid 12's.

Sorry, just reread your post and saw you have an m6. Some of the most popular MTI cams are the B1 and T1. Most of the m6 guys go for the T1, but it is a little less emissions friendly.
