Think Ragtop99 is going with that cam. His motor is going in today, so give him some time to read this. I'm sure he'll be posting his impressions.

Ragtops cam is the XE-R grind though with .581 lift. I would go with that cam, it will make more power than the lower lift version.
cheers,
Chris

I agree with Chris that the XE-R will make more power. I've been debating between the 226 XE-R and the 224 XE-R, but I think I'll end up with the 224. OnyxLS1 picked up 37 RWHP with the 224/224, .581"/.581", 112 LSA Comp XE-R!

I have the 226/226 114 on the XE-R ramps with ARE S2 heads. I'll have my car back Tuesday, but w/o LS1Edit, it will be running pig rich due to my injector swap.

Do you still have your stock injectors Ragtop?
You could throw those in till you get tuning

Chris: The trip home will be break in miles, so I'm not worried in the short term. My LTRIMs will be a bit whacko and it is not going to see WOT and while I'm getting faster at injector swaps, I'd rather not do it and risk ripping an O-Ring. We have a tracking #, so I'll have it in my hands this week.

I have 224 224 563 563 112 with rgr stage 2 heads and I am making 402 rwhp (flat line) and 390tq. I have long tube headers, slp loud mouth, 4400 Yank (unlocked at time of dyno), lid w/ K&N, So that is really good. Not sure that cam will work much better. I bought it from Tom Izzo of Speed Inc. He might have put it some of his cars. call him and talk to him he is a really cool guy, someone you can trust too. Website below
