Default Pause in rpms?

In first gear at WOT from a stop only and not from a roll, the rpms will go up and then stop and pause for a second, and then shoot up and bounce off the rev limiter and then shift. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I have a sound clip I could post if you wanted to hear it.

You dont have a MAF translator do you? I just read on here about a glitch in translators performance at 5200 rpm. Maybe this is your problem?

That happen to me but I had a torque converter. It can only be taken care of with programming. If those are the only mods you have take it back to the dealer.

No, I don't have a maf translator. Dealers won't do anything, just like they won't do anything about my nonstop ticking. What would have to be programed to make it stop doing that? Do you think torque management could be the cause?
