Well since my motor decided to take a dump on me friday night I want to know where I could get some good prices on some forged pistons, and rods that are direct replacements. What else is there to replace in the motor? I cant afford a stroker crank so thats out the question. So I kind of have to stay with the stock CID. Unless someone has a buget way of adding cubic inches.

Check with LS1 Motorsports. I know that they offer forged Ross pistons already pressed on the stock rods. I think it's $999, and it comes with rings and ARP rod bolts. ARE could also help you out.

Thanks trevor. How much HP are the stock rods good for? Im wanting to play with 600 at the most.
