Default Head Work

Anyone know of a good book out there that details head work for the do-it yourselfer? I have a machine shop to do the work at, and more time than money. Thanks

You want to read David Vizards Porting Chevy small block heads book, it can be found at BARNES AND NOBLES. The basics and principals will also apply to LS1 heads just pay attention to swirl ramp in port and dont alter it much. Good luck, i find this work very rewarding! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
