Why use 5.3L heads?

so as long as the two have the same cc chamber size/compression ratio, there is no benefit either way? I find that hard to believe. Sure wish one of the sponsors would chime in on this...

The cost difference is negligible between a set of Stage 2 5.3L heads and some budget LS6 heads.... so that's not really a reason.
And I've heard it directly from 2 respected sponsors on this that the 5.3L heads are 63cc vs 64cc for the LS6, so that's negligible difference also...
Anyone have any other input on this?
