i dont know if im lucky, have a strong motor, or what....but does he need new springs as you say??
---i ask because i was at the track, and for the first time ever! i missed 2nd....then continued to third. and in my quest to get a better ET i was getting anxious and yes i missed to 3,4 shift <img border="0" alt="[guns]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
went into second everything locked up, shift light went on, dials spinning everywhere <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> but suprisingly didnt here any bent pushrods and the car runs great <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
i have a video of this run too from a camera mounted in my car

A friend of mine built me a lock out for my shifter. When I am at the track or am going through the gears a just pull down on a polished ring right after I go into third. Then there is no posible way to shift into 2nd unless I pull the ring back up.E-mail me for pics.I can't fiqure out how to post them.
