I am changing cams and valve springs in a couple of weeks. Which spring compressor is everyone using? Also, which pulley remover/installer should I use for the crank pulley.
Thanks

I posted a thread on LS1.com called "compact valve spring compressor" in which I describe how to make one and show a picture of it. It is very simple to make, easy to use, and is the perfect solution to the back springs that are so confined.

The 3 jaw puller that you need can be "rented" for free from Pep Boys, Murrays, or Auto Zone stores. I also suggest you get a bolt that is about 1.5" longer to draw the balancer back onto the crankshaft. You also need an impact wrench to get the balancer bolt off, and an air hold to keep the valves closed when changing springs.
