Default guide liners

K-line makes bronze guide inserts and has the tool kits to install and finish size them.

Bronze seems to be more slippery than iron, but tends to wear out more quickly. Most factory heads have cast iron, while aftermarket usually install the bronze. Theyll free up a very small bit of power due to friction, akin to roller rockers.

the reason for them is when the guides get worn, you drill it out and press in the bronze guides. saves the head from being thrown in the trash. all aluminum heads have them. aluminum is softer.
