Well i will be installing some MMS stage I heads and the C1 "hammer" cam. I have purchased some 7.350" pushrods for the milled heads, 918 springs, and head gaskets and bolts. couple of questions here:
1. with the 918 springs, are the stock retainers fine to use with them?
2. what things do i need to be made aware of with the install?? just want to make sure i have everything that i am going to need for the install!! Thanks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

The stock retainers are usually OK to use, but I would recommend titanium retainers if you plan to rev much above 6700rpm or so. In any case, they are good insurance, and will make life a little easier on the entire valvetrain since they are much lighter than the stock steel retainers.
As far as hints/tips, you can do a search and find some good writeups on heads/cam swaps. I don't know of any of the URL's right off hand though.
