I have an LQ4 6.0 block that was bored out to 4.060, and a Lunati crank that was offset ground to 4.075 stroke.

I just went a cheaper and I think more durable way to get big cubes.

Most LQ4's are only bored out to .040 but some can be taken to .060 and I have heard of a .080 out there.

From what I can gather, an alloy block would cost @$1400 to put oversize liners in, to get a 4.155" bore. What was the cost difference of your new/used 6.0 litre block? <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
