TR224??????? Please help!!!
I am in the market for a cam, but I just cannot figure out what I want. I am really looking toward the TR224 114LSA. Since many of you have done this, how hard is the install? I will need valve train too. I dyno around 320 HP with my convertor unlocked and 370 TQ. What kind of gains to you think I will see with this cam and my set up. By the way, does this cam like N20, because I have a TNT set up for a 150 shot. Thanks for all of the help.

That cam will work well with your TNT kit. The 114lsa is a little better for n20 compared to the 112lsa However, nitrous really doesn't discriminate. It will make real nice power when you hit the button. LOL
You should see around 30-40rwhp with addition of the TR 224 cam.

you're right, as soon as I settle on a head/cam combo, you'll be the second fastest silver f-body in town.

Of course you do realize that you will see the SES light on with that cam unless you reprogram the PCM. You will get misfire codes and fast idle codes when that cam is installed in an A4 car.
The 224/224 114LSA cam gives a very noticable "seat of the pants" improvement!

Brandon, i installed a custom grind from Terry Burger, its a COMP grind i dont know who's but here are specs: .578"/.578" lift 220*/220* on 112*LSA installed at 110*. This cam idles well at stock setting, i raised it 75 rpm to 875(m6)car.The car sets missfire codes with stock 2001 programming, the light comes on every few days but even goes back out for a couple now and again.
I raced car before and after cam/ spring change and with my average launch and driving it picked up 2 mph and close to 2 tenths. So lets say 20 hp or so. It does need 6200 rpm limiter raised i was constantly hitting it with out trying, i think it would be worth 20 more HP at 6400 rpm or so. I dont have ported heads or exh. mods when i dumped factory y pipe at track the car ran 12.84 at 111.44mph with a poor launch and regular shifts. I would have to reccomend a 114* lsa for emissions and idle quality but i am very happy with this cam.
