Some Help On Swap... I destroyed my block on my LS1 from a 98 T/A, A4, with 3.90 rear end. I got the hook up on a complete 04 LS6 out of a CTS V.
Will I have any trouble swaping the motors?
What should I look for as potential problems so that half way through the install the oh **** does not happens?
Will everything match up.. tranny, headers, pumps, lines, wiring?
Are parts made vehicle wise so I would not order say headers for a 04 CTS V but for a 98 T/A still?
I want to install a new cam, what will I need to change for intall?
Anything else that will help me would be great thanks!

you MIGHT have to switch the oil pan over..... I just bought a newer LSx crate and the pan doesnt work(the sump is at the front instead of the back). If this is true.... look at the pan that comes on the new eng and see if it has a dipstick hole in the pan. If it has a hole in the pan when you take the pan off be sure to punch the aluminum plug through that is blocking the off the dipstick hole on the block. After you make sure you have the plug in hand put your old LS1 pan back on.
