And what compression would going with a 6.0 truck head with a .075 thickness gasket give you for a FI setup? Thanks,

Vince...its not. Atleast not as far as I know. But I believe there are aftermarket head gaskets by Cometic up to .075 thickness.

The 6.0L CC is only 1cc more than Stock LS1 heads. Cometic does make a .078 which I just finished installing. My LS1 Head C/R with the above gasket should be 9.6:1
It's 30% thicker than the stock gasket.

If you order direct from Cometic, you should get them VERY fast. Got mine in 3 days I believe.
The thicker you get, the more pricey they are. These are the same boost gaskets Lingenfelter uses on their twin turbo.
The p/n on my invoice is:
p/n H1294078S LS1 3.910" Bore .078" MLS
$125.95 Each x2

Yes to both. I'd probably try the new GM 2002 MLS Gasket before the Felpro. I've seen some Felpro's fail on LS1's.

So assuming I wanted stock bore size, and one or two grades thicker, what would I ask for? I don't know what the stock thickness is for a regular 1999/2000 LS1 (2000 block, 1999 heads)

I believe the stock LS1 compressed head gasket thickness is 1.33 mm or 0.0524".

FWIW,
No detonation issues or throttle response problems with the new .078" gasket. Car feels great! Hard to notice a 2% loss @ 9.6:1. No direct ATAP results yet. Will pull the data soon.
