the reason why the GM bolts are degreed is becuase its much more acurate than torquing. not becuase they are "TTY"

You're probably thinking of huckcrimp type fasteners. We use them at work. Although they are usually the nut portion of the fastener. The part you use to tighten breaks off when a specific torque value is reached. Leaving a clamping piece left.

I vote for GM head bolts. No need to retorque them after a heat cycle and I have have never had a leaky head gasket with them after over 10 swaps on various cars.
