Withoue detonation.I have my heads milled .30thous and I was wanting 11:0:1 compression. That would mean that I would need a .40 thick gasket.Would this cause detonation going this thin.I heard something about a quench area but I dont know.Thanx

I think tighter quench means less detonation , just watch coolant temp and max timing advance..
Who makes thin LS1 gaskets?

I didn't see it in their catalog, but several people have ordered them.
