Re: 01 and 02' piston slap cause knock retard? I'd like to hear on this. I don't really race my 01 but the 1 day I took in down the track it would fall flat on it's face with 4.5deg of retard.
Only after that did I do the basics (stat, fans, watter wetter) so I'm not sure. The next time I take it I'll runn a tank of race gas and see.
