Default Lifter Question

I have the comp lifters in my car. The are not the race version. Can these cause a poor idle.
Thanks
David

Default Re: Lifter Question

Well I've never measured the non R lifters but if they're like the R's then the plunger depth will be different. Which means the pushrods will be too short since the plunger depth is lower than the stockers.

Usually pushrods that are too long will cause rough idle and other issues. Too short would man that the valves are opening late. Probably could cause some issues.
