Re: Where can I get my block honed with the LS1 torque plates? Nearest Cincinnati. Similr question. I just haven't started to look into it yet. Try Hucks Machine. They build my friends SBC race motors and he mentioned to me that he had discussed with them.

I know they have done some LS1's and are well known in the drag racing world. Like Chris stated, be sure and check out the local f-body board. www.gcfba.com Also are you going to do the tear down yourself or looking for a shop who does everything?

He also did not have it but said he would be interested in honing in exchange for the plates if I bought them. It looks like I am going to buy the plates. I am building the motor myself. Thanks for the replies.

Also, I'd be interested in what you're doing and seeing it as it goes together, and maybe lend a hand here and there. Like Tom said, shoot over to the local club boardsome time and introduce yourself. There are a buch of folks who will be intrested in what you're planning and green w/ envy.
