Default dyno for TR224 cam

Black Magic Racing in Bay Area here installed the 224/114 cam. I made 378.5 RWHP and 370.9 RWTQ.

Keep in mind this is an Auto not a stick. If it was a stick it would have been over 390 to the wheels

I am VERY happy with the #'s. Have FLP LT's, TB, Lid and TR224/114 . I dont necessarily care about the peak #'s, but the area under the curve, WHOA, I gained over 40 RWHP under the curve, and the torque curve is flat throughout the rpm range till 6200 or so. I am very impressed.

on the gains. I take it this was on stock heads.

More info please..... ORP? LS6 intake?

How do feel about emissions with that cam?

Again, nice #'s.

wicked, yeah I got 918 springs, titanium retainers, and comp cams chromoly pushrods. Dave charged me $300 for install. And they were done in 4 1/2 hours. I was like WHOA =) And then they helped me dyno tune it for the air/fuel. THey do a really good job I reccomend it. Ameet and you can come check it out on thursday.

With the FTRA, pullies and maybe with the help of a cutout you are likely to hit 400rwhp.

Anyway.... keep us posted with track times if you go.

I'm sorry to ask the question again. Do you think you will be able to pass the sniffer test here in CA? It was my impression that this cam was very, very borderline with an M6 let alone the A4. Can you give us your thoughts?

Thanks. Scott 00 WS6 M6.

May, I am not really sure. My car is registered in nevada so I dont have to worry about silly smog rules ;-)

Perhaps other TR224/114 cam owners in the area can answer. But I was thinking maybe you can just use the maf-t to rich/lean it till it passes hehe, with cats =)

We didn't even have to drill the throttle blade out, though he does run a MMS throttle body. The air/fuel is set at 13.0-13.2, and the graph is cleeeeeeean!! Very straight lines, no dips anywhere.

For those that were asking, we are located in Antioch, by Walnut Creek. Send me an email if you have any questions.
