I'm not MTI bashing, but doesn't that number seem a bit low from the LS6 heads? I mean those suckers are like $1500 more than ported LS1 heads right? It's starting to look like guys should save the LS6 heads for their big cube motors.

Now I just need some Draglite's or Weld's with some slicks and I'll be ready for the track. At least I do have some Nitto's on 16" rims for the meantime.

Terry- I've heard the LS6 heads don't flow more on stock cubes, but my next step is 382 all bore. I'm just planning ahead.
And before the Moser (w/4.10's) I was putting down 372rwhp and 363rwtq. So the Moser and 4.10's prolly robbed me 5-10rwhp that means with the LS6 heads I gained 53-58rwhp and about 30rwtq. I wonder what the other guys gained from LS1 stage2 heads. Thats when I'll know if there's any difference between the two heads.

Peace,
Craig.

Terry, the LS6 heads are not really worth a whole lot more on 346ci. Like he said, he is planning for the future. And that $1200 core charge applies to everyone, but you make it sound like its a fortune. When you pay that, you still have your stock heads to sell to recover some of that cost. I just wish LS6 heads were as cheap to buy as LS1 heads.
