Default help, heads/cam car hard to start

I have MTI stg 2 heads, 224/224 561 561 112 cam. MTI did custon tuning, throttle body is drilled. starts fine when cold and has high idle untill warm. idles fine once warm. WHEN WARM AND STARTED THE CAR STARTS THEN DIES....CANT "FIND" IDLE IF A/C IS ON IT WILL NEVER FIND IDLE, IF A/C OFF SOMETIMES IT WILL. it only doesw this when warm...cold starts are fine, if I rev a little bit at start-up and let it settle with my foot on pedal it will finally idle after a few seconds(30seconds to 1 minute) IS THIS NORMAL? PLEASE HELP!!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Not normal if you have your idle set for 800 rpm or higher.

What is your IAC count?

Try opening your TB blade by turning your idle set screw on your TB 2 full turns (720 degrees). That may end up being too much but see if that gets you running smoothly. You can can back it off a 1/2 turn if your idle ends up too high.

Your timing may be a bit off too.

DESIRED IDLE SPEED IS SET AT 1000RPM, IT IDLES AT 950 OR SO, THROTTLE BLADE IS DRILLED 13/64 I THINK(CANT REMEMBER EXACT SIZE)AGAIN IT IDLES FINE AFTER A FEW SECONDS. I THOUGHT MAYBE IT TOOK A WHILE TO LEARN, THE MOTOR HAS BEEN IN SINCE THURSDAY AND STILL SAME PROBLEM, ALSO MADE SURE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED, ETC. GAUGES GO TO ZERO EVERYTIME I CRANK AND TRIP METER GOES TO ZERO TOO. I HAVE A BATTERY TENDER THAT I PUT ON EVERY NIGHT AND IT SHOWS FLL CHARGE. I WILL CHECK IAC COUNTS AND GE TBACK TO YOU GUYS,

THANKS FOR ANY HELP.

96 is on the high side.

Stock is like 30-40. Yeah open it a bit more.

Check your battery and ground connections. Your stuff is reseting because you have a low battery or a bad alternator or a loose wire. That will also cause your car to go thru idle relearn everytime you drive the car.
