Broke crank pulley during cam install
While "attempting" to remove the !@#! crank pulley for my first cam install, I snapped one
of the puller tabs on the back of the pulley right off. That ***** was on there. After about
2 hours of screwing with it I finally got the pulley off.
So do I need to buy a new one now? Will that small of a piece near the center throw
the balance way off? Could I JB Weld it back on?
Thanks for any suggestions,
Brandon

JB Weld it?....no....
There are at least 10,000 stock pulleys cluttering up basements and garages all over the country, just get another one...

Since you have to replace it anyway, now's the perfect time to get an underdrive pulley-- why wouldn't you? <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
To hell with the stock one <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" />

Re: Broke crank pulley during cam install
Wow-- that's a new one on me...
Any way to check/verify this?
I have one, and I wonder if/how anyone's found proof of this.
If you know of any places for me to get this info, I'd appreciate the head's-up <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
