Default Which way do i put the rods in?

ok i just got my pistons pressed on to my rods but now i wanna know which way i put the rods in. I know the flat side of the rod has letters on them and the other side of the rod is round. I need to know if the flat side (with the lettering) faces the front of the engine (crank pully) or if it faces the rear of the engine (flywheel side). Please help thanks.

Stock engine….. The dot on the piston goes to the front. The Flat side of the rod also goes to the front. Assuming, you have a stock set of rods and a stock crank.
