i just did the fra mod and took the screen out of the maf.now the question is everyone gets a lid for there car and although i havent seen the insides of one yet,it seems to me it is just a regular lid with the baffles removed.

So if i can remove and smooth all the baffles from the stock lid wouldnt it be just as effective without buying the lid?shouldnt it flow just as well?
