Question ls1 valvetrain

i need to know how many rpms and how much power my drivetrain can take... rockers, lifters, pushrods, and anything else important....
2002 Ls1 camaro.

I would keep it under 6500 RPM's with the stock rods/bolts and valve springs.

Your rear diff can break even with stock power. Not all do, but some have.

what year, what car? are you talking about all stock valvetrain components? be a little more descriptive and you'll get some better responses.

I think some guys spin their stock parts up to 6500 and live to tell about it, while others probably push 6800-7000 on aftermarket parts. it just depends on what you want and how much $$$ you got...try answering those questions at the beginning, first.

Its a 2002 ls1 "auto" camaro.I was thinking of replacing the springs and pushrods... how much can the stock lifters and rockers take? I have already pretty much blown the rear out... im gettin a moser12. how much horsepower can my stock piston rod bolts take?

stock lifter and rockers will be fine. Rod bolts will stretch once you start spinning high RPM's.

Also what are good shiftpoints for my camaro.... about what rpms? i need to change them.... my shift points are set for a different rear end right now... i have the stock rear right now... what should i set the shift points to?
