Oil Pressure at High RPM
I run the extended K&N oil filter and Valvoline Synpower 5W-30 synthetic. I have seen 80psi on the stock gauge when at, say 5800rpm with the engine warmed up (say 185°).
I know the owner's manual says this is OK, but it's higher than other LS1's I've heard about. How high have you gents seen your oil press go? I don't want to blow a seal.

My ARE pump hits 80psi+ at WOT and it’s been fine <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
