Default smokin bad, help!

car is smoking bad. she ran fine on Friday, but when i started her up yesterday she started smoking really bad right on startup. i may have noticed smoke during the week, but i just attributed it to the white steam in the cold. never thought anything of it till now. nothing changed except for a bit of colder weather. she seems to run smooth, or i should say as smooth as she always did. pulled the valve covers and no broken springs. pulled the plugs and 6, 7, and 8 are really oily. what is the next step? first thought before pulling the plugs was the valve stem seals, cause i never changed the exhaust ones, only the intake ones when i did my cam install. but now that looks much worse with it being just the back 3 cylinders. rings? i figure a compression test will tell me more.

thats driver side on top, passenger on bottom, and back to front

Do a compression test. That is how I found out I had problems with my number 7 cylinder. I figured it was something with the rings since I had an 01 car.

do you have a catch can? If not oil could be entering the intake and lowering the octane of the gas you use. This would cause detonation and that would like to a broken ring land.

Compression test, then pull the springs off and check the valve seals, then pull the heads and check for bent valves/broken rings. That would be my order of deduction.

think everything is fixed. haven't started her, but a vacuum line in the trans was loose. just hooked it back up and clamped it down. bitch better work or it might catch on fire "accidently"
