And what were napa's part numbers? 59xx something? And by stocker you mean the first type, not the multilayer guys, right?

Why do you ask if they are multilayer ? I just bought a couple of sets and am now worried if they are any good.
Are they ? has anybody had problems with them ?

I think you missed a zero in your price somewhere.

We usually have some of the best pricing around, but if you can get them for $30 a piece, PLEASE drop me an email immediately. I may be interested in a few hundred sets.
Chances are, you got lucky during the transition when the GM phased out the gaskets ONLY part numbers and started shipping kits. You may have just gotten the kit instead of just the gaskets during the confusion.
What other gaskets and bolts would you need for a 98' engine overhaul. I was told to go with 99' gaskets because they are reusable. If all the other items only come in kits then I might not be saving any money and just have 2 sets of head gaskets lying around.
