Default DAM,CAM

Ok i was going to put the hot cam in but everyone seems to tell me to get a better cam, now i have a 98 z28 i am going to use hooker lts, everything that matters is stock heads ect, what cam is the best for this (stock lifters) i will have better push rods, and i wil change the springs,,

so what cam could i use to give me good power but still be a everyday car, and a cam i could use on a stock set up with stock lifters. if you do have any ideas please tell me were to buy it at i have one week and i am buying a dam cam

I run a Thunder Racing 220/220 114 duration and it gives great power.Drivability is like stock with a nice torque range. You could probly go 224/224 without any drivability problems.I think both of these cams are better than the Hot cam.

If price and reliablity are no problem then
yes you can find better setups around.
I chose the hotcam for two reasons.
I did not want to raise stock rev limit.
I needed everything in package to complete
the job ( kit ) thanks pace parts.
I needed reliablity of a known setup.
I have 12K miles on my hotcam kit and have had
no problems.. its a daily driver.
Here are some other setups people use
