Default Just Ordered My Parts....Cam & Gears

I'm very pumped and can't wait to get my stuff and have it installed. I just ordered LG's G5X4 cam and Motive 4:10 gears w/ PRC spring kit. I allready have Lt's,ory,LM,lid, clutch and some supen. stuff. I'm hopping this will be a good combo. I wanna be fast and wake the dead w/ my exhaust lol. Now I was wondering how noticable will the cam and gears be, I mean do you think it will feel like a new car? I just don't want to spend this kinda money and be like Oh I think I can feel the difference lol. Well parts should be here in a week and work should be gettin done 2/25/07....I CAN"T WAIT!!!!!!

If your car just has those bolt ons before you'll wet yourself the first time you stomp on the throttle. Thats a big cam and the power will come on later than quicker even with those gears but even still you'll be amazed at the difference you fell. My guess is you'll get about 112 miles on a tank of gas for the first few weeks. Hammering it from a roll will blow you away.

As far as traction on the street, you will need MT drag radials if you want to hook up in 1st gear. If you have Nitto drag radials, you can forget 1st gear, you'll be able to hook up in 2nd gear if they're warm. If you have street tires, it will be pretty rediculous.

4.30 would be a great gear for that cam. Nice choice, purdueranger.

I just pulls. I launch the car at 6k and she pulls 1.5x 60's.

Torque - from 3400 where the dyno starts to 6600rpms, I have atleast 325FT-LBS oftorque. Peaking at 380 at 4700RPMs.

HP just goes straight up and peaks around 6300RPMs but I ran out of fuel there so it didn't keep climbing. 408HP

I suggest getting a set of bigger injectors. I got a bigger set that needs to go in because when it got colder the AFR shot up because the stockers were maxed out at 107% and I went Dangerously lean on the dyno.
