How can I tell LS6 heads from 5.3 heads? I ordered some 5.3 heads from TSP but the customs form reads LS6 heads. How can I tell what I have? I could just call but it's pretty long distance and I'm sure this is a easy question.

 

The casting number on the heads. LS6 is 243.

 

Oh, Ok. Mine are 8 something so I may be good.

 

yea just look for the 3 digit number on the corner on the head and look it up

 

The 5.3's will be 862 castings, and the LS6's will be 243's. It was just an oversight by the guy filling out the customs form.
