b1 cam and non rfg tuning..
b1 cam and non rfg tuning.. Just for something to do I put in my non rfg tuning to see if some more advance helps with my b1 cam..with the stock cam I seemed to get too much knock retard and audible pinging with the non rfg and my gms maf.I didn't really try to richen things up though with my maft.Now so far I am running my maft at 1 notch richer wot and no knock retard so far although the hotter weather will prove interesting..it was 85 here yesterday but its a much cooler 45 today..I got o2 reading of around .870 right now..I don't have access to a wideband so will just have to tune the car by watching knock retard and running it between two speeds on my tazzo vpc.So far it feels much crisper and faster around town at part and full throttle.Anyone else have good luck running the non rfg with a cam similar to the b1.I can hardly wait to get ls1 edit and really tweak the car..then I won't need the maft or the hpp anymore.Just wish that ls1 edit was a bit cheaper..maybe we could get a gp happening guys???
