yes, the c2 is a xer 224/224 .581/.581 112.
Abdulla, the C2 is a great cam for stock heads if he is planning on getting ported heads later. Thats exactly what I did. My heads are coming soon. The .581 lift is pretty tough on a single spring but the comp 918s seem to be holding up perfect.

I'm running the Comp XE-R 224 on a 112 LSA with two degrees of advance ground in, and I love it. Mine came from Speed Inc., so it's not a "C2". I dynoed 361 RWHP with an unlocked converter and 380 RWHP with the converter locked. I have a little more timing now, so I think there are a few more ponies with it. 380 RWHP through an A4 w/ stock heads is pretty nice IMO. I hope to put it solidly in the 11.6's (maybe quicker?) this weekend at the Super Chevy Show. Only time will tell.

How streetable is the C2 Hammer Cam 2? It sounds like a great cam to have on stock heads and an even better one if you get those stock heads ported! How quick will it eat up those springs? Anyone think it would pass Illinois emissions tests?
Thanks,
Mark

It is wonderfully streetable.... springs? No one that I know of has eaten up any 918's using it.
The C2 will respond well to aftermarket heads down the road while giving KILLER performance with the generals stock porting.
I think it would pass Illinois tests if it was tuned RIGHT.
Get it warm (the motor), good cats, set up the idle a bit and I dont forsee any probs.
(I'm glad i answered this here... it saved me an E mail)
There is a lot of Hammer 2 info on my web page.
It has done right by me so far....(two tumbs up)

Would you recommend spraying with this cam? What if the LSA on the cam was 114? What would the streetablility/performance difference be?
Thanks Raughammer!
