anyone reuse intake and pan gaskets? i started a project and didn't even think about the gaskets, i just figured that since they look like an o-ring that they would be ok but now i am not so sure.

if it is a good idea to change them will the local dealer carry them? i tried the regular parts house and they don't have a part number yet.

 

I have reused both with no problems. The truck intake gasket is plastic with embedded seals and clips onto the intake, it will stay with the intake. The oil pan gasket is riveted to the oil pan.
